History and ethos of the company

In 1964, Fishing Captain and Naval Engineer Ricardo Fernández identified a need in the maritime sector: the lack of high-quality equipment on board his vessel. In response, he set up a workshop dedicated to improving deck-mobility technologies. His innovations soon caught the attention of the fishing fleet, marking the beginning of what is today our company.

From the very start, we have kept a focus on optimising existing solutions, avoiding mass production and standardisation. Every project is treated as a unique challenge, tailored to the specific needs of each customer and the environment in which the equipment will operate.

Our mission

At INDUSTRIAS FERRI we deliver innovative, reliable technical solutions for deck machinery, providing exceptional service throughout the equipment’s entire life cycle.

Our vision

To supply and maintain bespoke equipment and services that meet the specific needs of every customer, completing projects successfully, on time and on budget — while preserving the economic viability of our operations and defending integrity, efficiency and corporate sustainability.

Engineers focused on the future

A real engineer’s competence goes far beyond the mechanical application of established technical processes. The mission is to identify and develop specific solutions to every new challenge in the maritime environment.

Conscious of the growing operational demands, we are committed to incorporating cutting-edge equipment that responds effectively to those demands. Every new project starts with a detailed analysis of every factor that will influence the equipment’s performance over its service life — from environmental conditions to the training of future operators.

This holistic approach defines not only the equipment’s performance but also its design, manoeuvrability and durability. In our engineering department, we work with vocation and precision to answer every challenge, delivering technical solutions that look to the future.
